Here are two similar shows that I’ve enjoyed over the years that involve making the rocky transition from a young person to an adult
- Dawsons Creek
I started watching this at 11 and continued to watch it until the very end (I was around 13 when it ended) Its kind of a racy show, so looking back I have no idea how I got away with watching it, but I did and I loved it and still do. Its so much more than a daytime soap like a lot of people think. If you like Skins, give this show a chance.
- Degrassi seasons 1-5. I’m serious, ONLY watch seasons 1-5. I cannot stress that enough.
After that it turns into a disastrous mess. It isn’t even the same show. But seasons 1-5 are golden and although corny at times, do a good job at demonstrating the trials and tribulations off being a teenager. I also think Hardlet shippers will like Jiberty, one of the cutest couples on the show.
